Rachel Simmons, APRN, Ph.D., DNP, PMHNP-BC, WHNP-BC, ANP-BC, IBCLC, MSN, is board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health, Women’s Health, and Adult Medicine Practitioner. Rachel graduated cum laude with an undergraduate in Sociology and two Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees from the College of Mount St. Joseph. Rachel possesses a post-masters degree specializing in Adult Medicine (18+). Rachel strongly believes that patient outcomes can be improved through provider education and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) – magna cum laude. Rachel is nationally published in nursing books, is a current member of an editorial review team that provides services for the National Medical Library Association, and serves on multiple committees for the National League of Nursing. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys sports, teaching, researching, and traveling with family.
